BLENDERS

Oxygen Blenders from Bio-Med Devices
Bio-Med Devices offers low-, mid- and high-flow air/oxygen blenders in many different configurations. You’re certain to find the blender that’s right for you, whether it’s for the NICU, MRI suite, transport operations or ICU.
Bio-Med Devices blenders come standard with air and oxygen DISS input
fittings, but air and oxygen NIST fittings are also available. Depending on the part number, one, two or three output ports are provided. Standard fittings for these ports are oxygen DISS, but 1/8 NPT or push-connectstyle fittings for tubing are also available. We also offer several models with flowmeters permanently mounted, creating a versatile, compact package.

NEO2 Blend NICU Oxygen Blenders
The NEO2 Blend series represents the ideal blender model for the NICU application. It comes with a 0-15 LPM flow meter close mounted to the left hand side (this makes a perfect spot to attach a resuscitation bag). The right side comes installed with either a 0-1, 0-3.5, or 1-15 LPM flowmeter (depending on the model you choose), which allows for use with a nasal cannula, CPAP, etc. The right side flow meter is installed on an integrated bleed control switch: when the right side is not needed, the bleed flow (3 LPM) can be disabled by pushing and rotating the flow meter forward when needed, simply return it to the upright position and use as desired.

Air-Oxygen Blender
It is the only unit available that allows the clinician to turn the bleed control to ON or OFF providing quieter operation. This feature is especially useful in the NICU and PICU.
The tough ABS housing makes the unit durable and the selection control knob is recessed to prevent accidental damage.
The unit is available in two models, high and low flow. The blender is easily mounted with a universal mounting bracket. It can be detached from the mounting bracket without removing hoses.
The unique modular design can cut routine maintenance time in half as well as reduce maintenance costs. The unit has easy-to-replace modular components and is easily maintained by all biomed departments.
A large selection control knob makes oxygen percentage adjustments easy. The infection-control-friendly housing is smooth and easy to clean.
The highly accurate unit maintains FI02 even at low flows. It is economical and provides cost-savings with less waste.

Maxtec Oxygen Analyzers / Oxygen Monitors
The difference between medical equipment Oxygen Analyzers and Oxygen Monitors.
There is a difference between these two O2 medical devices.
While both devices analyze and display the percentage of oxygen via an electrochemical oxygen sensor, an Oxygen Monitor also includes the capability of providing alarm signals with brackets around the desired concentration as a back-up to the utilized equipment.
Oxygen Analyzers do not include alarms and are not intended for use in continuous monitoring of oxygen delivery to a patient.
A variety of mounting options are available to facilitate use on pole mount (vertical or horizontal), wall mount or rail mount environments, as well as with air and oxygen blenders/mixers.
Other accessories include oxygen sensor manifolds designed specifically for blenders, in-line ventilator circuit application or flowmeter adaption are offered.
